Guidelines for Drug Court in Allen County
Posted by: Bart Arnold
February 08, 2012

Although not all inclusive, below is a rough list of guidelines for a person to be admitted into a Drug Court or Problem Solving Court program.

1.  Resident of Allen County

2.  At least 18

3.  Person needs help and asks for help

4.  No prior convictions for serious violent felony offenses (i.c. 35-47-4-5) or forcible felonies (35-41-1-11).

5.  No pending matters elsewhere including detainers, warrants, parole or probation violations

6.  No firearms involved in the offense in question.

Again, there can be much more to it, but this is a good starting place and includes the biggest hurdles.
